Most of my days during moose hunting season are spent at my camp, which is located in Northeast Carry. It is on the westbranch of the Penobscot river and the most northern tip of Moosehead Lake. This location is perfect for moose hunting. The historic camp is over 150 years old. Many years ago loggers would stay at the camp while they were working hard, floating logs down the river. ​

    Clients with permits for this area will spend the week with me at camp where we will work as a team to harvest your moose. Calling and covering ground seems to work best when getting a moose in your crosshairs. In years past I have been on multiple hunts in this area and all have been successful in killing both bulls and cows. When that huge moose comes peering through the trees you will never forget it.
